"Mathematical Modelling in Nonlinear Dynamics and Networks" is one of the projects of "KSS Projects for Communication", which is started since 2015, following Studio Phones Fellowship Program.
The purpose of this project is to develop mathematical modelling in nonlinear dynamics and networks in the collaboration with Physics and Computer Graphics.
The dynamical systems of deformable objects ("active matter") and dynamic networks ("adaptive networks") are subjects of growing interest. In these systems, the interactions between elements are not static, but change with time.
We hope this collaboration will bring us a new mathematical framework of modelling in statistical physics, and new research directions for Mathematics and Computer Graphics.
